Jayda's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Jayda's Story...
Jayda (along with her sister Joules) arrived this week. They are a bonded pair of female pugs, both around 8 yrs old. They are spayed and have been vet checked, brought up to date on shots, microchipped, and HW tested (negative) so they are ready for a home of their own. They have always been together and that is how they need to be adopted. They totally LOVE each other. They are doing fine with my dogs here although are a bit nervous around my lab mix. Any growls toward them and they move away! They are great with the grandkids and just want a lap to sit in. They are not super active and would make a great addition to a laid back home where they got lots of attention! They are both going in on Friday for a teeth cleaning and then will be able to go home! If interested in Jayda and Joules, go to www.hubbardshounds.com and submit an application. NO PHONE CALLS.

Adoption donation is $200 each.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jayda, a Homer Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Homer, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Homer.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homer already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homer breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homer paves the way for another one to be saved.
