What a sweetheart Miss Mattie is. She was adopted from the shelter as a puppy but as she grew up the older dog in the house started picking on her to the point that the family felt like it would be best for Mattie to find another home. Mattie gets along great with the other dogs here at Cedar Farm. She is not the type to romp and wrestle and chase but is more laid back and calm. She walks beautifully on leash and has fabulous house manners. She would do just fine in an apartment or townhome environment. She is very quiet. Mattie gets along great with our cats and should do fine with children. Mattie is bit shy on an initial meeting and is cautious in new situations. She is very friendly and affectionate when she gets to know you which doesn't take long at all. This girl is super smart too. She loves her humans and is eager to please them. She loves to go on car rides with her people. Mattie is 3 years old and weighs 43 lbs. She is crate-trained and housebroken. She has been spayed and microchipped and has tested negative for heartworms. Mattie is up to date on her vaccinations and is on a monthly preventative for heartworms, fleas and ticks.
