Here's McGee, a laid back pooch who is looking for a relatively calm home to settle in to. McGee is somewhat shy at an initial meeting and would be a bit uneasy with lots of commotion in his new home. He bonds quickly with his humans and can be protective of them so a home with lots of people coming and going would not be the best fit for him. McGee loves to play with our other dogs and does great with our cats. His favorite place is curled up on the couch on in a comfy dog bed. He has fabulous house manners and is quiet and calm inside. He is crate-trained and housebroken. McGee walks great on leash. He would be a fabulous hiking buddy. He is affectionate and attentive and smart. After you have submitted the form you may contact Tony to make an appointment to visit with McGee at our adoption center in downtown Mocksville. We are there by appointment only. McGee is 3 years old and weighs 33 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his shots. He has tested negative for heartworms and is on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks. McGee would love to find his forever home and we hope that will be yours! 59178
