My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pedro was rescued several years ago,​ from a horrible state of being. He was malnourished, covered in scabs, medically untreated and rotting in a shelter. ​He had hookwork, giardia, and mange and was completely miserable. ​It took the support of many of you to help us get him to a better physical state. We searched for a year for a home for Pedro which was very difficult based on his medical needs and fearfulness.

Pedro has spent the last 3 years with a wonderful woman who opened her heart and her home to give Pedro a chance at life. He has blossomed through her love. Unfortunately, she is now dealing with her own medical issues, and we need to help rehome Pedro. Pedro is amazing with people​ ​(loooooooves to snuggle with you, toys, your armpits and all things human​. ​He was abused and is fearful with other dogs. He is good with cats. Pedro is about 5, neutered and up to date on all things medical.

​The​ ideal home for Pedro is a person or couple out of the city where he can be the object of everyone's affection and doesn't have to encounter many dogs. Again, he is great with cats.​ In fact, here is a video of him with one of his best friend cats, who was also up for adoption at the time:​
