DOTTIE's Story...
Meet Dottie, she is a super sweet, playful and happy puppy! Like most puppies her age, she loves to run and play with her buddies. She’s a good girl too, not overly rambunctious, pretty well behaved for a youngster. Knowing I foster dogs, someone actually threw this baby out at my house. It made me mad at first, but after I met her I was glad they did. At least they left her in a place that she would be loved, get the proper vet care and be adopted into a loving home. The reason I named her Dottie is she has 4 big dots down the middle of her back, from her head to her tail. This beautiful girl is sure to make some lucky family a terrific family pet. She was born around 11/9/15 making her approximately 15 weeks old and weighing 19 pounds at the time of this posting. Dottie has been spayed, fecal tested, microchipped, current on all vaccines, worming and on heartworm and flea prevention. Her adoption fee is $400.

Dottie is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted she will be transported to her pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the New England area every week and her fee does include transportation. Due to state laws, we do not adopt to Maine residents.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

DOTTIE, a Newburgh Shar Pei puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shar Pei for sale in Newburgh, or seeking a Shar Pei puppy from a breeder in Newburgh.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newburgh already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newburgh breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shar Pei breeders who help with Shar Pei rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newburgh paves the way for another one to be saved.
