Allison's Story...
Allison is a sweet, snuggly, playful and fun pup.
She is a 10 week-old Black Labrador mix who weighs 15 lbs now and will likely be between 40-60 lbs as an adult.
She has a thick silky glossy black coat and beautiful white markings on her chest, paws and the tip of her tail.
She's very friendly, loves people and other dogs and would be fine with cats, too.
She's smart and eager to please and will be quick to learn.
She's almost house-trained at this early age and will be fully trained soon.
She is completely healthy, will be spayed and microchipped, has had several sets of vaccines, has been fully dewormed and on heartworm and flea and tick prevention.
She's a wonderful puppy and will be a great companion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Allison, a Salisbury Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Salisbury, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Salisbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salisbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salisbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salisbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
