My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everybody! My name is Jenna. I'm a spayed female Terrier mix. My friends think that I am about 1 1/2 years old. I weigh approximately 30lbs.

I know you don't know me yet, but once you meet me, you'll wonder how my previous family could ever give me up. I am the sweetest, most loving dog you will ever know. I get along great with everybody - dogs and people alike! I can't figure out a single reason why my family no longer wanted me. Maybe it wasn't me. Maybe they had things they needed to sort out. Even if that were the case, it doesn't take the sting away.

I suppose that I was lucky in comparison to some of the other dogs that end up at high-kill shelters. I was only there for two days before CageFree rescued me. I can't express to you just how happy I was to be walking out of that place. I didn't even look back once!

Remember how I said that I get along with dogs? I should tell you that not only do I get along with them, I love them! I try to make friends with every dog I meet. I don't discriminate at all. Big, small, I love them all! I would really enjoy going to the dog park or having some canine friends come over for play dates. I'm the perfect dog for stuff like that.

If you are looking for a dog to snuggle with, I'm your girl. If given the chance, I'll rest my head in your lap and await pets. I get so excited when my human friends give me attention. I just love it!

I'm basically the perfect dog - sociable, polite, well-behaved, and I walk nicely on a leash. I probably don't need much training other than the basics like "sit", "stay", and "come." In fact, I might actually know those already.

I would make a great first dog for someone. I'm super easygoing and I'm issue-free as far as my friends at the rescue can tell. So, if you think I would make a great companion for you, please don't hesitate to contact CageFree and tell them you want to meet me.
