Benji's Story...
Benji is a male Lhasa Apso mix about 1 year of age. He is a young boy, sweetly puppyish and innocent. Benji has a gorgeous cream colored coat of gentle waves. He is a sturdy dog currently weighing 14 pounds which is a good adult weight for him. Benji is playful, somewhat submissive, and always ready for a “belly rub.” He can be shy when first meeting people. Benji has a nice amount of energy for walks or romping in a park. He is good with other dogs and is playful with his mother, Ginger. He acts like he has not had a nurturing family and possibly mistreated in his young life. Thankfully, his heart has remained pure and loving. He will no doubt bond very closely and loyally to his new forever family. He has the potential to be quite a devoted boy, wonderful pet and companion. Benji is very healthy and ready for his new forever home today.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Benji, a San Diego Lhasa Apso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Lhasa Apso dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
