My story

**Update** (1/14/16) Bruno received his heartworm injections two weeks ago and is doing very well recovering. His foster mom reports that he is a happy and gentle boy. (12/7/15) Handsome Bruno was surrendered by his owners to a high kill shelter a few days ago and was on the list to be PTS. We were contacted by rescue volunteers who help the dogs at that shelter, and we agreed to bring this friendly boy into our rescue. Bruno is HW+ and will be receiving his treatment before coming to us. After a few weeks of recovery time in a wonderful foster home, Bruno will travel to PA to find a new life. Bruno is very friendly with people and other dogs. We are hoping to have a foster home lined up for Bruno when the vet clears him to travel after his HW treatment.
