Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi. My name is Buddy. My rescue mom found me wandering the streets. I had walked so long on the pavement that the pads on my feet had worn off. I was brave enough to let her approach me, put on a collar and save me. Now, my temporary home is a boarding facility, and my rescue mom visits me. We go on long walks and to the park. I like all of the nice people at the boarding facility, but I really want a home of my own (as an only pet).
Here are a few things I like: playing ball & Frisbee, going on walks or runs, having my belly rubbed, snuggling on the couch (with permission of course), pleasing people, meeting new people and treats.
My rescue mom says I am good on leash, in the car and in a crate. Even though I have a lot of energy and love to play, I am perfectly content resting next to someone’s feet. I thoroughly enjoy being with people and greeting them with a supercharged tail wagging and happy dance. Also, I am outstanding with cues such as sit, down and shake. Shaking is my favorite. I am eager to learn new things and earn rewards (especially treats). In fact, I have worked with a really nice trainer and participated in classes.
I am approximately 4 years old, 70 lbs. and all vetting is up-to-date (vaccines, neutered, heartworm negative, etc.).
If you are able to foster me or provide me with a permanent home, please contact my rescue mom, Lisa, at buddypb10@gmail.com or on my Facebook page (Buddy’s Pursuit). You can also email the rescue at info@orphanannierescue.org
