APRIL's Story...
Imagine being down south alone on the street with your brother with nowhere to call home. You're scared and hungry. Then you get picked up and eventually wind up in a NJ animal shelter. But even then you continue to be scared and you huddle in a corner whenever someone approaches until a volunteer can't stand the pathetic sight of you anymore and decides to take you home to meet her canine family and foster you. I'm April and that is my story. I've come such a long way from those days. I'm still a bit shy when it comes to meeting new people but boy do I love dogs! That's why I really would like a furever home with dogs, the more the merrier. I'm just under a year old and I've been in foster since March. My foster family thinks in I'm so sweet. I love to give kisses and cuddle in bed. I'm housebroken and walk well on a leash. I'm up to date on my shots. I think you and your canine family would really love me. Please give me a chance to show you and your canine family how much love I have to give. It will be a beautiful sight!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

APRIL, a Cliffside Park Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Cliffside Park, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Cliffside Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cliffside Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cliffside Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cliffside Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
