Mork's Story...
How cute is Mr. Mork?! Mork and his siblings were surrendered to us recently. We aren't exactly sure what they are mixed with, but their mother is a beagle! We are guessing beagle/lab/super cute fluff-ball mixes. Mork is approximately 8 weeks old and weighs 7 pounds. He is a fun-loving boy who loves to play and gets along well with other dogs! Mork is in a foster home in West TN and will be transported once his adoption is finalized. If you'd like to add Mork to your family, please visit our website at www.goofyfootrescue.org and fill out an online application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mork, a Staunton Beagle/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Labrador Retriever for sale in Staunton, or seeking a Beagle/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Staunton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staunton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staunton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Beagle/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Staunton paves the way for another one to be saved.
