Facts about Daylee - N

  • Breed: Hound (Unknown Type)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) Mix
  • Color: Tricolor (Tan/Brown & Black & White)
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Female
Daylee is an inquisitive female who will happily explore her surroundings and enjoy adventures to new places as much as you are willing to take her. She likes to walk and is also willing to lay down and chew on her bone. We can never say for sure what many dogs are mixed with but Daylee looks to have some hound maybe some shepherd and black lab in her at best. She is smart and attentive and could possibly feel she needs to run the show so we feel an experienced owner would be a nice match for her. Daylee is okay with other dogs however she has shown some signs of resource guarding over toys and food and would need some guidance and training to help her over come this hurdle. For this reason, a home without children would be better for her. We estimate her year of birth to be 2009-2010 and her weight 50 lbs. If interested in Daylee, please email RickyC68@aol.com and please include a phone number where you can be reached. Thank you.

About Smiling Dog Farms- NY chapter

About Our Rescue Group...

Smiling Dog Farms is a sanctuary for the forgotten, neglected and rejected. Our dogs come from shelters and rescues all across America. All dogs that are deemed adoptable are up to date on shots, spayed or neutered, and on heartworm prevention. Many of our dogs live in Wharton Texas, but we have very safe, reliable transport to the northeastern states.

Our Adoption Process...

Most of the dogs that come to our Sanctuary have had a scary background of being left to die in animal shelters across the country. Understandably, we are very careful in our approving our adoptions as we are dedicated to ensuring that this dogs truly go to a "forever" home. As a result, our process is stringent, requiring an application, home visit, vet and reference checks and an adoption contract. We want the adoption to be a match made in heaven for both the new adoptive parents and the adopted dog.
