Nickolas is near Allentown, PA and can be transported by Rescue Road Trips to NY and CT, but needs a foster or an adopter ASAP before he gets sent back to TX - here is his story - Nickolas is an Old english Sheepdog mix,we think with Great Dane, as he has that regal stance.. He was found abandoned at a shopping mall on Christmas Eve in horrible condition. After two months of TLC, he is on his way to becoming a beautiful dog once more. He is approx 85 lbs and 1 year old.
He was in foster care with other dogs and did great, got along with everyone including the cats, loved to run and play and had buddies, but once he was adopted and went into a new home, he did not like the existing dog and tried to establish his dominance over her. He wanted to be the top and only dog, so even though he did great in foster care, we feel he may do better being an only dog with someone who can give him lots of exercise and love. He is a very sweet dog just needs the right home.
