My name is Emily (TN)!

Maltese Dog for adoption in Wilmington, Delaware - Emily (TN)

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Emily (TN)'s Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with dogs.

Emily (TN)'s Story...

Emily has such joy. Her life before rescue was not good since she appears to have an old break in her leg that looks like it was never correctly set. Emily came into rescue very pregnant. She was a great momma to her babies and adores them. But it is time now for them all to go their separate ways. I LOVE Emily and I know someone else will too. She is ADORABLE, sweet, trusting, not overly loud or obnoxious. She's just happy & grateful, full of love & a bit playful too. She had a dental, is heartworm negative and up to date on her vaccinations. Emily is ready for her new life. Shes about 3 or 4 years old and weighs 5.9 pounds

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emily (TN), a Wilmington Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Wilmington, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Wilmington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wilmington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wilmington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wilmington paves the way for another one to be saved.
