It is obvious to Little Ned's foster mom that this boy was once loved and held, and it's a mystery how he ended up in a shelter in North Carolina, but he did. SCMR decided he needed better than this, so we swooped him up, got him vetted (even a dental), and he's now ready to give you joy.

Little Ned is around 13yrs and weighs 6.6lb. Cataracts have taken his vision in one eye, so he's a little jumpy when you come at him from that side and should not be around stairs, but he loves to snuggle and follow you around like the wonderful little companion he is.

Unless you've owned a senior, you don't know what a heart warming experience it can be. Ned is house trained and emits a cute little 'whine' when he needs out. He also uses pee pads.

Share Little Ned's golden years. You'll be glad you did.

This boy is snuggling and being cute in Greensboro, NC until the right one comes along. You maybe?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Little Ned*Adopted, a Brunswick Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Brunswick, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Brunswick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brunswick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brunswick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brunswick paves the way for another one to be saved.
