Super Dooper Cooper!

Cooper came to SCMR via another rescuer who was full. He is a man of mystery...background is sketchy. His owner ended up giving him away to people who basically ignored him. We just don't know his age although he seems to have a lot of pep, so we think he's fairly young...maybe 5yrs. Although he had been seriously neglected, he only lost 1 tooth in his dental and he weighs in at 9.4 pounds. Cooper was kept outside and had a terrible flea infestation. He needs to eat a grain free diet because of chronic skin and ear conditions, but he does eat enthusiastically and is pretty well house trained but needs continued encouragement in his new home.

He's very friendly with other dogs...a regular little gentleman, and he's affectionate with people. This is a nice little fellow who hasn't been given much of a chance. But that has all changed. Won't you give Cooper a chance to melt your heart?

This boy is chillin' in Chattanooga, TN until somebody who wants a best buddy finds him.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cooper*Adopted, a Brunswick Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Brunswick, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Brunswick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brunswick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brunswick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brunswick paves the way for another one to be saved.
