Cherry (TN)'s Story...

NOTE: SCMR DOES NOT adopt to homes with children under the age of 10 years or homes with Electric Fences.

Choo Choo Cheri is learning to love the good life. She enjoys the company of other dogs, and could care less about cats one way or another. She is a bit shy but is coming around quickly. She has only been in foster care a bit over a week and is daily increasing her confidence & trust.
She's a little girl, about 6 pounds and is about 7 - 8 years of age. Choo Choo will need continued guidance to learn her house manners. She will need a fenced yard or someone who is willing to patiently walk her on a leash to perfect her house training.
Choo Choo has had a dental, been brought up to date on all vetting and is heartworm negative.
She's a real cutie & a true snuggle bug.
Adoption fee $150

Out-of-state adoptions are possible; however, the approved adoptive home is responsible for making the necessary arrangements to pick up their new little one.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cherry (TN), a Hebron Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Hebron, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Hebron.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hebron already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hebron breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hebron paves the way for another one to be saved.
