Ilea's Story...

This great young lady was fond in our parking lot.  She is very sweet, loving & very smart. We believe that she may be part hound since she is more lanky than a normal heeler and sometimes her barks sounds hound like.  When she wags her tail she circles it instead of just back & forth.  She has tested negative for Heartworm , Lymes, Anaplasmosis, and Ehrlichiosis (all tick borne diseases),current on vaccinations, dewormed & will be given monthly flea protection.  These procedures value around $85.
Her adoption fee is $45.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ilea, a New London Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in New London, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in New London.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New London already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New London breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New London paves the way for another one to be saved.
