Lucky's Story...
Lucky is a beautiful Burmese/Siamese male, neutered cat. He is about 3 years old. Lucky came to the shelter when he was rescued from a trailer park where someone was threatening to kill him.....So when he got here he hid for almost 6 months, but now he has become part of the general population and is well adjusted to other cats and people. He would be shy at first, but when he comes out of his shell ....what a beautiful cat to adopt and have around. He has blue eyes!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucky, a Mesa Burmese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Burmese for sale in Mesa, or seeking a Burmese cat from a breeder in Mesa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Burmese breeders who help with Burmese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
