Leah's Story...
Levi and Leah are new to Hope Rescue and they are such a sweet pair. We believe they are siblings that are Yorkie/chi mixes. Leah is the smaller is of the two at 8 1/2 lbs, and Levi is 9 1/2 lbs. They are 1-2 years of age. They are timid at first but warm up quickly. They are both vaccinated, heart worm negative, wormed, and spayed/neutered. They are searching for their forever homes. We believe they would be best adopted out to different homes as he tends to dominate/overshadow her. Their adoption fee is $125 each and will require a fenced yard. If interested in adopting please fill out an app at http://www.adoptapet.com/hope-rescue/adoption-application/

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leah, a Jennings Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Chihuahua for sale in Jennings, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Jennings.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jennings already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jennings breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Chihuahua breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jennings paves the way for another one to be saved.
