Maisy's Story...
MAISY is a darling gray and white 3-year old female. A stray being fed outside by a kind lady, MAISY always wanted to come inside and be part of the family. When her feeder died, MAISYwaited faithfully on the porch hoping for food and a friend before she was rescued. Tested, vaccinated and spayed, she is ready to go to a family or single person who is willing to give her some attention each day. MAISY is the Greek word for pearl -- and she certainly would be a lustrous pearl in your life setting!

This beautiful girl is NOT at the Sanctuary; she is a Courtesy Listing. Please contact MARYANN at 412-537-5556 to meet this gem of a kitty!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maisy, a Delmont Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Delmont, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Delmont.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Delmont already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Delmont breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Delmont paves the way for another one to be saved.
