Tucker Turner's Story...

Tucker is the little guy in the front and he is about 6 years old. Him and his sister are very bonded and would love for them to go together. They are both very loving cuddlers and would make the perfect lap dogs. They need a home without young children. They do get along well with other dogs and cats, they will chase cats but wont hurt them. They are potty pad trained and doing well on their house training. They need a family with patience to work with them as they just had a loss of their owner and need a secure and loving home.

Tucker is neutered, up to date on shots, rabies, microchipped, and on flea and heartworm prevention.

Adoption Donation is $250.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tucker Turner, a Urbana Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Urbana, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Urbana.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Urbana already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Urbana breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Urbana paves the way for another one to be saved.
