Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Don’t let the gray on his face fool you. This senior Doxie still loves to play!
In the 13 years since Hopper came to live with his family, much has changed. A toddler now rules the house, and twins are on the way. Simply put: This sweet boy no longer gets the attention he deserves and so appreciates.
Hopper would love to find a new home and is a good fit for most. He likes snuggling with cats and playing with other dogs his size—in fact, his Doxie sibling, Aggie, is also looking for a place to spend her senior years, if you’re willing and able to take both. Older kids are also welcome friends, especially if they’ll throw his Frisbee and then help him find it, as his eyes aren’t as sharp as they once were.
Older dogs make excellent companions for those with a laid-back lifestyle. Hopper won’t ask you for much, though he does have one requirement of all potential adopters: They must be champion ear rubbers. Expect to be tested.
If Hopper sounds like your kind of sidekick, come meet him today.
