Louie's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Louie's Story...
Louie is a 4 year old lab who weighs about 75 pounds. He came to us from a high-kill shelter in South Carolina because he had heart worms and need to be treated. Louie is on the road to being a healthy boy and is ready to find his forever home! His idea home would have a fenced in yard and another dog to play with as he is an active boy who likes to be on the go!

$175.00 adoption donation ($200 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough) , microchipped and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites if needed. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as surgeries and dentals. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Louie, a Staunton Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Staunton, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Staunton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staunton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staunton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Staunton paves the way for another one to be saved.
