Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Andover is a typical little scruffy street dog that was seen foraging for food for weeks in a pretty bad part of town. He and a buddy who was also saved, were just trying to survive. He looks like a mini sheepdog/bearded collie and his coat will be on the longer side. He is approx 2 yrs old and 20 lbs. He is still rather shy and timid, but every day gets braver. He will follow the other dogs in and out of the house and hang out with them but has not started to play yet. He likes to chill out on a chair or doggie bed and watch everyone. He will do best a household where he can feel safe and have lots of love and TLC.. He is doing great on the leash and on the housetraining - his foster mom says he has not had one accident. He slept straight through a thunderstorm on his doggy bed. He is curious and will follow you around the house. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body. He did test heartworm positive and has been treated with the required series of injections, we also started him on a monthly heartworm preventative.
