Dottie's Story...
Dottie, approximately 9 years young, is a delightful girl who loves to sleep beside (or on) you each night. She's always purring and looking to see where her favourite human is. She loves attention, however can be a touch shy at times so we recommend a mature, quiet home for our girl where there would be no dogs or very young children. She would thrive as an only pet and would reward you with her adorable chatter. She is one special girl you don't want to pass by, she has the most stunning eyes and a cute black dot on her nose. She is able to look into your eyes and express her deepest emotions you will quickly learn as love, trust, and grace. She's truly an exceptional girl that deserves the best of the best.

Dottie is a white DSH, spayed female who is up-to-date on all her vaccinations. She's had one or more Revolution application(s), fecal flotation negative, and is microchipped.

A token adoption fee of $125 applies to help offset a portion of the care and medical needs for all of our rescues.

If you think Dottie would make a great addition to your family dynamic, please fill out our brief online questionnaire:

Our Adoption Fee is payable upon transfer of the adopted kitten/cat. Payments are accepted via Electronic Money Transfer (EMT) or Cash. Deferred payments or partial payments are not accepted.

***All cats and kittens are tested and treated for parasites found by veterinary, in-house fecal flotation. Also included is treatment for ear mites, fleas, and/or any other health concerns that need to be addressed prior to adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dottie, a Burlington Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Burlington, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Burlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Burlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Burlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Burlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
