Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Remi – the most adorable little girl. She is about 2 years old and 33 pounds. The vet thinks she is a mix between a shepherd, border collie and some sort of terrier because of her size. She came in from a hoarding situation with 13 other dogs so she has had a rough start. She is very loving but is shy when you first meet her. She will bark and back up when someone first comes in (but doesn’t show any signs of aggression) so it’s best to introduce new people slowly. It doesn’t take her long to warm up (about 5 minutes) and then she just wants to be loved. She will come over and put her paw on you when she wants to be petted. She plays nicely with my beagle mix romping around the living room, but she is very protective of her toys. She doesn’t know how to share her toys and guards her food bowl and dog bed from the other dog. She listens very well and if she does start to growl at the other dog is easily stopped so I think she is just giving off a warning. She is not protective or guarding of her things with humans but should be watched with young children. She is very calm and quiet and loves going for walks. She walks very well on a leash and comes when called. She is housebroken and crate trained. Her adoption fee is $200. To meet her, please call Anita at 708-751-4904
