Sally is a beautiful girl, easygoing young girl. She was saved last minute from a kill shelter in West TN and is being fostered in the Boston area waiting for her forever home.She gets along well with other dogs and has no issue with cats either (as long as they stay away from her food!). Sally has settled in very well into her foster home and is doing great! Once Sally gets to know you, she is your BFF and welcomes you with a constantly wagging tail and the cutest grin ever, with her little under-bite! After some hard work, she is now almost fully housetrained! Sally does sometimes have peeing accidents at home but only when she can't control her excitement (like when her foster dad comes home!). She knows her 'sit' command and has excellent recall ("Sally come") i.e. she is very responsive to hearing her lovely name! Sally has a very laid back and chill vibe and would work really well in a house with older, respectful children or with an older couple. She is quite low-maintenance, eats well and just needs a lot of love! Ideally, she would love to be queen of her castle but she can live with other dogs. Sally can be bossy and considers herself bigger than her 30lbs! Her only real issues are some minor resource guarding problems which she is working and improving on. Although she wasn't interested in toys initially, she LOVES them now (especially the stuffed toys!). She is learning to sleep peacefully in her crate at night. And just when you think this baby can't get any better....according to her foster mom, Sally is a dream to walk! She walks right next to you and sits when you stop. She is so full of love to give and is such an easy dog to love- her forever home will be a very lucky one!
If that's not enough cuteness to lure you in- Sally dances when she's happy (on her hindlegs and with a little twirl)! Of course- if you want to see this, you'll have to meet this pup for real! So, hurry up and fill in that adoption form!
