Cleo's Story...
Hi, my name is CLEO and I am a 1 and a half year old ALL BLACK PETITE male kitty. As you can see from my photo, my COAT is extremely SHINY and LUSTROUS. My EYES are a BRILLIANT HUE of YELLOW with a bit of sadness in them. That’s because not too long ago, my owners moved away and left me alone in our apartment locked in a crate. I was really scared and hungry and then Posh Pets came along and rescued me! Now I feel safe, but I would really like a home of my own. I ENJOY the company of OTHER CATS very much and can even be found CUDDLING and PLAYING with them. My foster mom has commented that I am VERY MELLOW and SUPER SWEET. She says that I will RUB my head all over her face and even Lie on her lap. And sometimes I am fine being PICKED UP and HELD. Let’s arrange to meet. I’m sure you’ll like me. I am neutered, UTD on shots, and FIV/FeLV negative.

To meet me, fill out the CAT ADOPTION APPLICATION at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cleo, a Long Beach Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
