Simon's Story...
Simon is a really special boy! He was pulled from a high kill shelter where he was on the euthanasia list. He is the most fun-loving, sweet, gentle boy you could ever imagine! Simon is a volunteer favorite for many reasons. He gets along great with all other dogs, he loves children and people of all ages, he is very sweet and playful, and is just one of the most well-rounded wonderful dogs we have had the pleasure of fostering. He is doing really, really well with crate training and has had no accidents. He weighs around 55 lbs and is very healthy. Simon really wants a home to call his own where he can lounge on the sofa, chase balls in the yard, and hopefully have a sibling to play with. We would recommend Simon for any family. He's just a fantastic fella all the way around! We haven't tested him with cats yet, but we have a feeling he would be just fine. Please consider filling out a foster or adoption application at www.caresla.org We will try to get some better photos up shortly, but check out that GREAT smile he has! He's always smiling!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Simon, a Mandeville American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Mandeville, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Mandeville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mandeville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mandeville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mandeville paves the way for another one to be saved.
