Hello friends! My name is Niko and I’m a 5 year old Chinese Crested who is looking for a loving fur-ever home.
I am a handsome and loving fella. I’m still working on gaining some more weight as I'm a came into rescue a bit thin and I am looking for an adopter with excellent taste in hair styling, since my breed is pretty shnazzy. I’ve done well with potty training but I occasionally still mark in new environments, so I need a home where my adopter will be patient and take me outside frequently.
I enjoy spending my afternoons curled up at the very top of the sofa, or on the lap of a friend. I am a very shy and nervous fella and so I'm looking for a fur-ever home that is calm, quiet, and with a family who is home often. I’ve never met a cat, and I don’t really mind other dogs – so long as they aren’t hyper and pushy with me.
Because I’m slim and fragile, it would be best that I be in a home with children over 10 years old, or really, I’ve always wanted to be the favorite child! Do I sound like the dashing sort of fellow you’ve been looking for? You can apply to adopt me at www.NBSAnimalRescue.com
P.S. Here are the helpful steps in applying!
1.) Visit www.NBSAnimalRescue.com happy to adopt me. As an approved adopter, my rescue friends can set up a home visit so I can meet you, and whatever other pets you have in the home to make sure we all get along. Our rescue is 100% run by volunteers, to help your application be processed as quickly as possible, please make sure to do the next steps too. : )
2.) Call your veterinarian and give them permission to release info about your current and past pet’s veterinary history.
3.) Call your references too! Let them know to expect a phone call from an unknown phone number, and a rescue team member will need to talk to them on the phone as a reference.
My adoption fee is $250.00 and includes a DHPP vaccine, bordatella vaccine, de-worming, spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccine (age appropriate), heartworm test (age appropriate), heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, microchip insertion, bath, nail trim, ear cleaning, leash and collar and one week's worth of food. If you’d like to meet me, please apply online and to become an approved adopter!
Our adoption process requires that any pet in your household be current on vaccinations and heartworm preventative , spayed/neutered (unless a documented medical reason is on file with your vet). Dogs must be current on Distemper DHPP combo vaccine and Rabies vaccine, cats must be current on Distemper and Rabies at the time of application. This also applies to any pets in your home within the past five years.
