My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Archie is a 1 1/2 year old yellow lab. He has a beautiful coat and weighs 74 lbs. but needs to gain a few pounds.
Archie lives in a foster home with other dogs of all sizes! He is VERY friendly with everyone. He is so smart and a fast learner. He has great manners and knows basic commands. LOVES children. He is looking for a family that will love him forever and be HIS!!

If you are interested in giving Archie a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the Notes section. While you are there, please Like our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you. Feel free to call Beverly with questions about the dogs @901-651-6322 or Angela with questions about our adoption process.

Archie is fostered in Tennessee and will travel to his new family by professional dog transport. We use a weekly transport to the northeast and a twice monthly transport to Chicago / Milwaukee / Minneapolis.

Archie's adoption donation is $505 which helps to cover the cost of his neutering, shots, vet examination, flea/tick prevention, heart worm prevention, certificate of health and includes the transport fee. Archie is heart worm negative.

Our primary source of funding comes from our adoption fee. This fee allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home.
