Reese is a female Terrier mix only 1 year old. She is small and compact, weighing 19 pounds full grown. Reese has the most unique and pretty brindle coloring with wispy long eyebrows and medium length fur that is easy to brush out and maintain. Of course her main claim to fame are her most expressive, large ears which are positioned one standing tall and the other one flopping over. So cute! Reese likes to stay nearby her people but is never in the way. She came in quite thin and neglected and is grateful for every bite of food or kind gesture that comes her way. She already comes when she's called and is going to be a true companion and partner. Whenever possible, she loves to cuddle and be petted gently. Reese functions best in a calm, safe environment without a lot of commotion. She enjoys the company of other small dogs and loves to play like the young dog that she is. She seems very comfortable around other dogs her size or smaller and can even be somewhat mothering towards them. She needs a home where she can feel safe and secure with people she trusts. We think its possible she has been abused in her young life since she is quite passive and shies away from any tools, mops, or brooms in human hands. Its rewarding to watch her play games of chase or tug-o-war with her doggie friends after her obvious rough beginning. She is a quiet dog and not a barker, even when other dogs are barking. She loves all things gentle and positive and responds beautifully to rewards for good behavior. Reese appears to be a quick learner and wants to please. She is patiently waiting for that special home with tons of love. Reese is healthy and ready for her new forever home today!
Reese’s adoption donation is $325 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). She has been SPAYED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is her collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of her records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Reese is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Sharon and is ready for her forever home.
