Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Marley is a good, good girl and she weighs 55 pounds and is 7 years old. She sits and stays! Marley was a beloved family pet that spent her days outside in the fenced yard and her nights inside with the family (the kids, cats, and other dogs - she's reported to be good with all of them!) Well Marley would get a little bored and lonely left to her own devices all day in the backyard. Occasionally she would escape to find people to love and play with. A neighbor complained. That wound poor sweet Marley up at the shelter on March 1st. So many solutions to this small issue that many, many pet owners have dealt with. Personally, my 4th doggie addition couldn't resist getting out of the fence when left out unattended and he would take his usually well behaved sister out with him! Luckily the other 2 were too big to fit out the hole he'd dig. So now he's crated inside when no one is home and only goes out back for short potty breaks or when people are there to supervise. Don't leave the dog out all day, maybe the neighbor was in her backyard with her dogs, how could a lonely dog resist joining them! Inspecting fences for weak points and reinforcing is a must when you have pets! Well regardless, Marley is at the shelter and is need of a good home. She sounds like a great family pet, already made and ready for a new owner! She is up to date with shots, spayed, heart worm tested negative and already micro-chipped. Marley is in Run 56 and her ID is 582509. See Marley in her video greeting another sweet dog.
When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, the names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.
