My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Every once in a while, a pup comes along in rescue that really touches you. For us, that dog is Bookey. At sixteen-years-old, he was surrendered to a local shelter after the only owner he’s known was forced to move into a homeless shelter. However, no one told him he’s 16! Upon being dog tested with a six-month-old lab, he immediately play bowed. He has the most adorable pep in his step and is currently living with a two-year-old dog he loves to wrestle. Bookey is also amazing with cats and kids. He’s housebroken and sleeps peacefully through the night on the couch. His vet workup had great results – he’s just a healthy and happy guy looking for a retirement home!
