My name is Petunia. I'm a gorgeous pit mix. I am on the small side - only weigh about 40lbs. I'm still young even though I have recently had pups of my own. I was found abandoned with my pups in a box on the side of the road. I'm working on my potty training & crate training. I do love to play with toys & other pups in my foster home. I don't think I've met a cat yet but I might like to. I'm sweet as pie & full of kisses. If you are looking for love I'm the one for you.

Petunia's Adoption Donation is $300 and includes spay/neuter, deworming, Avid microchip, and UTD vaccinations. Petunia is being fostered in ST LOUIS, MISSOURI but transportation to the New England area is available thru ALPHA DOG TRANSPORT for an additional $125. About Act Now Rescue - Chicago Il

About Our Rescue Group...

ACT Now! Rescue is an all volunteer, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) no kill dog and cat rescue and animal welfare organization serving St. Louis County, Jefferson County and Franklin County in Missouri. We operate through a foster network and work with local shelters, as well as take in stray and abandoned animals. As an organization, we strongly oppose puppy mills and breeding programs and emphasize education and a vigorous spay/neuter program in order to reduce problems of overpopulation.
We started full operations in September 2006. There are many exciting opportunities to join the group and help further the causes of dog and cat welfare in this region. We are currently looking for generous people willing to share their homes and serve as foster parents for the animals we take in as well as volunteers to serve is almost every other area of the operation.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We work soley as a foster rescue organization. Arrangements are made on a case by case basis for meeting families with prospective animals. Every consideration is made to accomodate families to make the adoption process as easy as possible.
