Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Roll out the red carpet, this princess is coming through! Finally Star has made it to adoptions! Star has had a tough road. She was first found as a stray by Animal Control. When she was picked up she had a severe case of demodectic mange, which is not contagious and easily treatable, but painful for the animal. It is caused by a weakened immune system, and since this girl was just a puppy out on her own, that was enough to make her sick. She was set to be put to sleep for her skin problems, but, A Home 4 Spot saw her face and couldn't let it happen! She was taken straight to the vet, where she was cared for around the clock for weeks. Finally, she was able to come home to her foster family. She needed daily baths and medications. But this little diva made herself right at home! She is a VERY happy and playful puppy! Star is about 6 pounds, fully grown, and is getting stronger every day. Her fur is SO soft, and she loves to cuddle. She also loves to bite toes and give lots of kisses! Star is a terrier mix around 9 months old. She is working on potty training, and is currently using pee pads. We are working on the dog door. She thinks she's MUCH bigger than she is, yet still loves to be carried, because, she is royalty! Star is great with dogs of ALL sizes, kids, and probably cats too. She isn't shy! If you are interested in Star please fill out an adoption interest application at www.ahome4spot.com or text her foster mom at 702-366-6391. She will be spayed at the end of March and will be then ready to start meeting interested families. Her new family will need to continue to provide her with a high quality diet and probiotics to support her immune system. There is an adoption fee.
