Channing is a male Shih Tzu only 1 year old. He appears to be purebred although we don't have papers. Channing is a beautiful chocolate brown and white color with silvery tan highlights. He has a healthy, wavy coat that is non-shedding. Channing has a darling white front paw and leg, like a stocking, that makes him extra cute. He weighs 14 pounds full grown. To go along with his good looks, Channing has an absolutely outstanding personality in every way. He is adorably playful, romping around with a ball or toy in his mouth and easily playing with his human companions, children, or other dogs. He is gentle and sweet with a solid heart of gold. We can't say enough good things about this little dog. Channing is excellent in public, and well behaved and appropriate when company comes over. You can take him anywhere and meet anyone out and about and feel confident that Channing will not only be on his best behavior, but win everyone over and be the star. He gets attention wherever he goes. He is merry, jolly and fun, but also sweet, cuddly and affectionate. He will roll over on his back for a belly rub at the drop of a hat, and if that doesn't work he will sweetly tuck his head underneath your chin and just rest there. Channing is very social and will thrive in a home where he can be included as part of the family. Channing was rescued from a very high-volume/high-kill shelter where he was brought in stray. We were amazed to find him there and we know that some lucky person or family out there will benefit greatly by having young Channing for their very own! He is a real winner. Channing is healthy and ready for his new forever home today.
Channing’s adoption donation is $475 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
