Here's what the humans have to say about me:
seemed to be lost outside with no forms of identification. We felt that was bloody bad luck on our parts.
We came into a person's yard and for a moment began playing, putting our bit of bad luck on hold. The person came home and wondered where we belonged and who did we belong to. And so our mystery begins here.
My name is Holmes, Sherlock Holmes and my brother is Watson. While we were at the gentleman's home who found us in his yard, he was posting signs trying to find our owner. When no one answered the advertisements, he took us to a vet to see if we were micro chipped. Unfortunately we were not. Again, bloody bad news.
Watson and I remained at the gentleman's home until we came to be with this rescue. Watson went with one foster Mom and I with another. We were to meet other foster dogs that day and get acquainted with new surroundings.
Our first stop was to a groomer. Warm bubble baths, nails done, a little rub down and we were feeling right as rain again.
After that, we were off to the vet's office to get our vaccinations, micro chipping and neutering done. Must be careful nowadays with the ladies.
Now that we are looking our sporting selves, we would like to find a permanent home.
We are currently being taught basic manners. Secured in the backseat of a car, we are quiet as mice. We get along great with other dogs and I, Holmes even met a cat that I liked.
HOLMES WILL BE READY FOR A MEET N GREET BEGINNING MARCH 12TH.
Holmes is a 1 year old, Chocolate Lab mix, 57 pounds, UTD on vaccinations, neutered and micro chipped.
If you would like to meet Holmes, please call Chris at 586 563 4127 or email: homes4angels@yahoo.com for a general application.
