Dixie's Story...
Meet Dixie, she is 1 yr old 15 lbs. We think she is possibly a mini golden retriever. Mini Golden Retriever is a golden retriever crossed with a cocker spaniel and poodle.
Dixie is a little shy and is learning to trust people. She has learned to walk on leash, good in the car, loves the dog park and good with other dogs. Dixie is currently working on house training. She is under weight and could stand to put on about 5 lbs. Her appetite now is good so she is on her way to putting on weight.
To meet this beautiful girl please fill out an interest form at www.ahome4spot.com and call his foster mom Carol at 702-232-8691.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dixie, a Las Vegas Golden Retriever/Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Cocker Spaniel for sale in Las Vegas, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Las Vegas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Las Vegas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Las Vegas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Las Vegas paves the way for another one to be saved.
