Tasha's Story...
Tasha is a very sweet little girl whoís been neglected her whole short life. Placed on the end of a chain and used as a breeding machine she came to the shelter extremely under weight and starved for attention.

Although Tasha is putting on weight she will probably always remain a petite dog, making her just the right size for snuggling while watching TV or napping with on the couch. Right now she is learning to throw herself into the joys of life and has just recently figured out what toys are. Itís been a joy to watch her blossom from a frightened little waif into a happy fun loving dog in a very short time.

Tasha has begun learning the basics of how to be a proper lady. Hopefully her new owners would enjoy continuing her education since itís an excellent way to bond with your new dog. She has not yet been tested with other dogs or cats but this is coming soon and her bio will be updated as we learn more about her

If you have a bit of time and a lot of love to share please consider sharing it with this little girl. Sheís been fully vetted, vaccinated, is heartworm negative and will be spayed prior to adoption ‚ all she needs now is a place to call home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tasha, a chicago American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in chicago, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
