Houdini-Adopted's Story...
ADOPTION FEE LOWERED - Houdini is a 1.5 year old Chihuahua that weighs about 8 lbs. He is new to rescue and very scared. Updates will be posted as we get to know him.

Update, Houdini has finally come around to letting me pet him. He is still wary but this was a big step. He just wants to be loved but is so insecure and scared. He needs a patient adopter willing to work on his trust issues. The end result will be worth the effort. Definitely no small children for Houdini.

Update 03/12/2016 Houdini has finally given in and trusts me now. He loves to be pet and loved on. He is a very playful little guy and will make a wonderful pet. It does take about a week for him to come around but once he does he is the sweetest guy.

If you are interested in learning more about Houdini please contact his foster mom Julie at 224-688-9782 or dogcrazy623@comcast.net He is being fostered in Johnsburg, IL Houdini's ADOPTION FEE LOWERED TO $200.

Houdini needs to be adopted with Razzle his best buddy. If you have room in your heart for these two wonderful little dogs their adoption fee is $400 for both.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Houdini-Adopted, a Union Grove Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Union Grove, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Union Grove.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Union Grove already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Union Grove breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Union Grove paves the way for another one to be saved.
