Sophie is an adorable spayed female Yorkie/Maltese cross .She is a petite 6 lbs but is a bit on the slim side so could probably get up to 7 lbs without being overweight.

Sophie lost her home when her previous owner had a baby and Sophie showed signs of anxiety resulting in accidents in the home and also with a move to a new home. In her foster home, she is following the lead of the other dogs and is getting back on track. Sophie will go outside to relieve herself but also on a P-pad. The first couple of days in new home, she may be anxious and go anywhere, but she will soon settle in.

Sophie has shown a disposition to have crystals in her urine so she should be kept on a vet quality food that prevent crystal formation in the future.

Sophie is a sweet little dog does well with other dogs and loves to cuddle. She really likes to be with the owner… wherever you go, she will follow; and you can’t keep her away. She really needs attention. She may scratch at gates or doors to be with you. She may do well with another calm dog as she loves to play with them, and it seems to keep her happy when you are away from home

She is going to be 4 years old at the end of March 2016 so she is a relatively young dog who is looking for a home with a family that can expect to offer her a stable home for the next 10-12 years.
