Axel's Story...
Hi guys I'm Axel and I need a loving home. I am a loving 2 year old Chihuahua/Daschshund that weighs about 8 pounds. I know I am a little guy, I won't get any bigger. Don't worry though I am not like those bratty Chihuahuas with big attitudes. I'm a lover not a biter. I love people and other dogs. I even like children as long as they don't hurt me. I was found in a kill shelter by a rescue and put in a foster home. I am staying with them until I can find my own humans. I love to snuggle, I really am low energy. I will play for a few minutes if you like but I am most happy doing what ever you are doing. I am not only sweet and loving, I am house broken and crate trained. I am also up to date on all of my vaccinations, neutered and I have a micro chip. All I need now is you, your love, TREATS and your lap. If you have a loving lap and treats please fill out an application for me at www.soardoggyrescue.org. Pwease, I really need you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Axel, a Arlington Dachshund/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
