Milo's Story...
HI my name is Milo. I am a 2 year old Chow mix. I weigh about 50 pounds and I am full grown. I am looking for an experienced dog family. I am a super loving guy but I have been through so much that I am a bit timid of strangers. It doesn't take me long to warm up to you and when I do, I am your best friend for ever. I love getting my ears scratched and my belly rubbed but I don't like it when you reach for my face. I prefer you to bring your hands under me when you want to love on me. For this reason I will need a home with no small children. Teens would be fine. I also love to play with toys and treats are my absolute favorite. I am good with other dogs but it takes me time to get comfortable with them and I don't like cats. I really just want to be your only dog, yes I know I am an attention hog. I am house broken, crate trained, up to date on my vaccinations, neutered and I have a micro chip. I know I have a lot of needs but I promise I am worth it. To make me your new best friend please visit www.soardoggyrescue.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Milo, a Arlington Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chow Chow for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Chow Chow dog from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chow Chow breeders who help with Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
