Here's what the humans have to say about me:
SAM HAS BEEN ADOPTED!Sam is a handsome, goofy and playful 15 month old Aussie/Lab mix. Sam was adopted from a shelter in southern IL with two of his littermates (also available for adoption/foster) when they were just 8 weeks old. The family had lots of land and thought they could handle all three of the pups and adopted one pup for each child. Well, the pups are almost grown now and the children have lost interest, so all three were returned back to the open intake pound they were adopted from. Sam's mother was an Australian Shepherd/Lab mix, the father is unknown but we suspect it may have been a St. Bernard or Great Pyr. Sam is a larger dog already and we are expecting him to be 90+ pounds when fully grown. He is a very social dog and like most of his breed type, he'll thrive in an active and fun-loving home. He loves people and other dogs and plays gently with dogs of all sizes. He will a great playmate for an existing canine! This fellow will make a great addition to almost any home!
•Sam's adoption donation is $275. This donation helps to cover his neuter, initial vaccines, initial worming and microchip. Pal's Place relies solely on donations to care for the pets in our care. Your donation also helps save other animals like Sam from euthanasia.
