My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Luke is a very young 8-year-old chocolate beagle. Luke is a 13 inches and a solid, muscular 30 pounds. He has a very laid back personality, calm with a nice temperament and great manners. He is house and crate trained and learned to use the doggie door very fast. He loves the back yard, and like a typical beagle, his hobby is sun bathing. He also will find the spot by the back window to do some indoor sun bathing as well.

He is very protective of his food or treats so he will need to be in another area or kennel during meals times.

He loves chew bones especially hoofs. He will however chew paper. He is free to roam the house along with the rest of the pack.  Luke is fond of carrying things in his mouth. He does not chew the items but just carries them. Socks, dog toys, shirts, towels, etc.  Love to run and play with the pack.

Loves car rides and walks really well. Very affectionate, will sleep with you or on a rug or bed on the floor beside you when you sleep. Likes to cuddle and is very loyal. Luke has never been allowed on furniture in his last home so needs your permission/invitation to get up on a bed or chair with you.

His bark is mild mannered as well and you will only hear it when the pack is after squirrels or the weed eater on the other side of the fence.  He would do well as the only dog or with a small pack. He has gotten two thumbs up from friends with small kids, so will make a great family dog! Apply today to meet this special boy.
