SELA's Story...
Meet Sela, she is a super sweet, playful and happy puppy! Like most puppies her age, she loves to run and play with her siblings. She is fairly active and loves people and attention. She, her Mother and her two siblings were surrendered to us together. Her Mother (now gone to her new home) is the sweetest thing in the world, she is a 13 pound Maltese mix…we’re not sure what the Dad is. This little darling is sure to make some lucky family a great companion. Sela was born around December 17th, which makes her 12 weeks old and weighing 7 pounds at the time of this posting. She has been spayed, microchipped, fecal tested, current on all vaccines, worming, heartworm and flea prevention. Her adoption fee is $400.

Sela is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted she will be transported to her pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the New England area every week and her fee does include transportation. Due to state laws, we do not adopt to Maine residents.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SELA, a Hartford Maltese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Hartford, or seeking a Maltese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Hartford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hartford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hartford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Maltese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hartford paves the way for another one to be saved.
