My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

THOMAS is the ideal "best friend" and loyal companion type guy! He is about a year old, house trained, and crate trained. THOMAS is absolutely fabulous with all other dogs! He lives in a foster home with an adult dog and they are the best of friends. He also does well with puppies and senior dogs. His friendly and playful, but not dominate, personality make him an ideal candidate for dog parks and dog daycare. Speaking of dog day care, he LOVES it!!! However, taking THOMAS to daycare isn't a requirement for his adoption. He hasn't met any kitty cats while with us, but we are happy to introduce him to some if an approved adopter has feline family members. THOMAS rides quietly in the car and doesn't drag when he is on leash. He can be shy with some new people, but warms up quickly. He is truly a stick to his people like glue type of dog. THOMAS is a joy. His loyalness and kindness are going to make his forever owner extremely happy!
THOMAS is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations.
HIs $450 adoption fee includes his interstate health certificate and transport to the Midwest.

An adoption application on THOMAS can be found at the following link: http://wp.me/P73YMd-1h
Please email the completed application to weatherley.woofriver@gmail.com

All of our dogs start their journey in Tennessee where most of them stay until they are adopted. Some pups, including THOMAS, travel to foster homes in the Midwest where they live with a wonderful foster family until they are adopted by their forever and ever family. Our dogs travel to the Midwest via The Road Home Pet Transport (https://www.facebook.com/roadhomepettransport).

Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
